Blog Post One: About Me
My name is Pamela Annette Boykin, and I have lived in Mobile, Alabama, all of my life. I have been at the University of South Alabama since 2007, and this is my last class to take, before I can go into the Social Work Field.
I love the beach, tennis, racketball, animals, and of course football. The Patriots are my favorite team. I, also love dogs. I have eight dogs, that all have been left at my front door. But, I have a very big yard. Six of the dogs stay outside, and the other two are like babies. George and Lucky stay in the house, and do everything with me. George sleeps by the bed, and Lucky sleeps on the bed. Both dogs are going on fourteen years old, and I love them dearly.
I have a son who is seventeen, that plays football for Theodore High School, who I hope will play for South. I also have a daughter, who is thirty-two and is a nurse. I worked for McDonald's for twenty-eight as a Supervisor, before returning back to school. I have had a lot of hardships during college, but, I'm going to finish this class, this year.
Dr. Pausch's Video on Time Management
In watching the video on Time Management, by Randy Paush, I agree with his statement that experience comes from time and it takes time to get experience. I, also learned that I need to work on my time management plan.
I have heard my father say a many of time, before his death last year, that as you get older time goes by faster and faster. When I was younger, I didn't know what he meant, but, I do now. I have watched Dr. Pausch's video before and I agree with him on a lot of his statement's. I am going to work on my time management this year.
